LOL that what i said. I thought you named it that name Ramz

Some nice shots you got there, still a great color and awesome coloration.
Never seen a coral like it, that resonating pink/red pigment

Maybe the "Pink Dragon" is it's first stage of growth, once it reaches maturity it'll receive the name RED DRAGON!

My red dragon is a pink color with light purple tips.... If I move it down it becomes a burgundy with bluish tips...

That sounds hot Troy I'll take the lower down different one from the bottom burgundy one haha I thinks there's a very good chance these could be different guys I mean there very different shades of corals in the same species so yeah I'd take a frag of both and I'll judge ;-)

So on another forum I saw this Pink dragon and it looked so similar to the Tyree Red Dragon I already had. Just wondering who has lineage of this piece and who has it.

I figure since this was a bigger forum than most and more popular I would be able to find it here fast

Here is the picture I found

Jayzar,
Why didn't you contact me if you wanted a frag? You know I have the colony and who in Southern California has frags.

For whatever its worth everyone, I have the original colony and somehow the name "pink dragon" got coined from fellow reefers/friends. It is a completely differen't coral from the "red dragon" but it is the same species. I got the colony from a friend when he was getting out of the hobby and he originally got it from the fish store as a browned out acro. I have had the colony for over 2 years now.

Here are two pictures of my tank from January of this year. Sorry I don't have anything more recent.
I go by "Reefer08" on other forums in case anyone recognizes the pictures.

Hey ramzy,

Thanks for the clarification. I was unaware that your pink turaki was named. I saw the original posted picture on another forum and thought it was something new. I have always known about your turaki but also new that it was hard for you to cut. I too also wanted a piece of the coral you have. As for my original post I just figured that piece was completely different from your piece as the structure and color was different. I honestly dont know what everyone else was talking about other than, I wanted the piece some other guy was selling on another forum to compare to my red dragon.

No worries Jay, hope I didn't offend you I wasn't trying to. Most frags die after being fragged that's why I let the frag heal for at least a month just to see if it stays alive. I'll hit you up later
