I've been noticing that whenever its time to change my light I have algae or diatoms (I guess) booming. Then it goes away with the new light bulbs. Has anybodt noticed this as well???

Yeah I noticed this with my corallife light on my old tank what kind of light are you running.

Yep, that indicates that you probably waited a little too long to change bulbs.
