I have a reefbreeders photon 1 that works like a champ, but we had some power outages recently and the programming was wiped each time the power went off and came back on. I needed to unplug and replug several times for the generator and every time, even when on discipinnected for a minute, the until needed to be completely reprogrammed. I am guessing there is an internal battery for the memory that needs to be replaced. Anyone have advice on this?

It could be the battery built into the board- but it may also be a software thing. Are you using the 30 minute or 1 hour steps?

1 hour since I need to keep reprogramming and it is rather tedious. I thought that when I got my light it only had hour increments. Is there a way to update the firmware?
