light question

i will have a 125 gallon reef tank with sps at the top and some lps. Would this light be ok for it? Its 6 ft long. The dimensions are 72.5 in L x 18.5 in W x 23.4 in H. Would 1 be ok, or how many would i need

Are you wanting the 150w or the 100w's? Either way you will need one per roughly a 24x24 area.

3 preferably. The increase in wattage doesn't really increase spread, but rather depth penetration. 3 of the 100w or 3 of the 150w's should work

If the tank is not SPS dominant, the 100w's should be fine. If you get the 150w's I would hang them if you can (and rent a par meter if possible) so you can get the best spread possible.

i will just have a few montiporas all the way at the top. Would that be fine? I may upgrade the lights in the future

The Nicrews are fine for the price. The mounting arm is fine

For this money , I would go with two used Ai Hydra 26 hd or 2-3 Orphek super blue OR3-120
