Lighting 15G Cube

Hi - After reviewing a bunch of tank builds, it seems like most folks with 15 gallon cube tanks are using AI Prime 16HD lights. I am in the 'picking equipment' stage of my build as a new reefer, and I've read reviews noting that the AI Primes can be loud, and lenses are prone to melting.

I've narrowed down the other options to a Noopsyche K7, Hydra 16 or 32, Kessil (which model?) and Nicrew NavaReef 65W. Are any of these notably quieter than the AI Prime? Are there other better moderately priced options I haven't considered? Current plan is for a mixed reef with a little bit of everything.

I love the Kessil A80. It has a lovely shimmer.

I have AI Prime, finishing its fifth year with it. The lenses never burnt out, the fan is noticeable when it comes on only if the room is silent then I can hear it. But it’s my living room so always people or tv or music on. I think it’s a good light if it’s used correctly. The problem IMO is that people put these lights on big tanks then are forced to run them at full power, that creates heat and keeps the fan on and burns the lenses. I run it at 85% on my 15 gallon softie tank.

I also use a jebao 60w light on another tank.

IMO any 50-60 watt light will work well for that size tank.
