So I bought a hygger 19watt light to supplement the stock hood on my biocube 32. Im using the blue channel about 3 hours a day to help corals. Usually after the main lights switch back to sunset mode. Curious if I should be leaving on longer. Any opinions?

Zoas and I'm not sure what the orange thing is. It seems to be struggling. I bought beginners box and been adding to

My 32 gallon has 100 watts if light power, I'm not sure what kind of light is in the biocube, but a 19 watt light won't do much. The orange coral looks like a jack o lantern lepto, but I'm not positive.

But, why put a blue tang in a 32 gallon cube?

Just getting back into the hobby and first time with anything under a 90 gallon tank. Is it too small for him?
I think smallest tangs people but in 60g but even then its still small.

Zoas and most lps will grow fine, if you want you can run the supporting lights alongside the main one for the full schedule. The orange coral is an encrusting monti I believe. Usually sps like those need more flow and light along with a more mature and set tank

So I kinda thought the tang would stay small as tank permitted. I think it is jack o lantern lepgo. I think maybe light is to bright there. It's been doing OK. I wanted to add the light to get more of the blue spectrum I see at the store. Can I just run the blue channel on 19watt and keep my stock light all day or just do the blue after main light lowers at 5pm
