Lighting for 225 gallon help

I will be getting my 225 gallon 60"L 30"W 30"H installed soon and was looking for some leds to grow and acro dominated sps tank. I am wanting good spread no hotspots and a good range. Depending on the light I'll also add 2-3 led strips to sumpliment the light. So far the contenders are xr30 g6, ati straton pro, reef breeders photons, reefi uno, and gnc bluray x

If you have any other recommendations post down below.

Quanta helix. Love my helix bars. Adds a lot to spectrum. I like the spot with supplement look. But the reef breeders may give more uniform coverage if that's what you want. I kinda like having a couple "hotspots" of light

I prefer uniform. I am also looking for spectrum and power so if yours are more equipped for that I could probably find a diffuser.

I'm running radion g4 w helix on one tank and reefi duo w helix on the other. Reefi has amazing spectral color and tons of power. I prefer the reefi to the radion a bit because of spectrum control.
I like a white look, not super blue, and the reefi can give me that during my peak.
May be limited w your front to back depth but I'd email reefi and start talking. I think they have a wider reflector. Reefi helix combo is cheaper than many in the high end and supports smaller American businesses.

I have no personal experience w reef breeders but have seen tanks lit w them and coverage is excellent.

BRS just got them in stock and on the site. I personally know a few people running them and they love them. The app is a little “outdated” but lights should be set it and forget it IMO

Get it setup and leave it alone after that.

These seem like the perfect lights. Unless someone can say spending 6k on xr30s is better or have some argument on why some other light is better, I am set on this for now.

I actually priced a Radion/Blade combo to try and compete and the V12 was cheaper with less power cords and clutter

How do the ati stratons compare? Do the ati's have a similar fixtures setup to the aurora v12? If so it might be a competition.

I’ve seen and heard great things about the Straton but they are a pain to hang with very limited options

I haven’t had one yet so just what I read on them

They are very flat in appearance like T5

The V12 has a gorgeous shimmer on it. My buddy has one and sends me videos of it and it convinced me to get one for my new build

Yes, your tank has the extra width. Mines only 26 wide

I’m not sure there is a better light on the market to be honest. If someone has the budget, it’s an amazing piece of tech

I'm heavily considering pulling the trigger on that light right now. Looks like it would be a perfect replacement for my Giesemann Spectra Halide/T5 Unit

I don’t speak freedom units but get the one that’s almost as big as your tank. You want to wrap your whole tank in light. I had the 150cm version on my 200cm tank previously. It grew acros fine even on the edges of the tank but I since upgraded to two 90cm fixtures and couldn’t be happier.

Eh…I’m sure they can at some sort of depth but 4-500 is more realistic in terms of how they will perform in our applications.
Honestly I can’t remember what the measurements where but I grow acros all throughout my tank.
I’ve been considering adding some kessils or something with narrow reflectors to strategically supplement the auroras at certain spots.
