Lighting for a 20 Gallon Tank

It should work. Says it can go on tanks that are 30”

I don’t see why not! What kind of corals do you plan on maintaining? Seems like a decent light for the price.

I'm more concerned that it won't fit on the rim. Do you think it will? I also have a glass top on the tank.

Can’t comment on how it will fit but glass tops aren’t beneficial for reef tanks.
They block out light and provide less gas exchange

The top has a hinge so I only have half of the top covering the tank. I use it so the water doesn't splash all over. I also heard that clownfish are jumpers so I don't want them committing suicide when I finally get them.

Plus, if water splashes on the light wouldn't that be an issue?
