So i got an almost 90 gallon drilled tank for free. It's 48x21x18. I have a hydra 26 right now but was wondering if i should get 1 or 2 more. I know i want a mixed reef but with very simple sps like stylos, digis, and birdsnest. I'm thinking 2 would be ok but just want some others opinions.

I'd say 2 may be enough. A PAR meter would tell you for sure. I'd consider buying 1 or 2 more. Maybe run 3 and keep one as a backup.

If just digis, birdsnest and stylos I would think two should be fine for the beginning when you have frags but you might want 3 or 4 down the road depending on the path you take

just get a 48" reefbreeder photon V2, I have the same dimensions on my tank.

Aquatics life T5 LED hybrid. Will grow anything with no shadowing. That way you are covered if you decide to start getting more into acros in the future. (which is likely if you are successful with the simpler sps)
