I need some help. I had to break down my 90g and I setup a 40g non drilled tank in another part of the house. The arm brackets for my Hydras will not work on this new tank. I think the arms with the lights are too heavy and it just moves the bracing too much and the lights lean way forward. I can't drill into the ceiling, and the center of the tank is too far away from the wall to hang them from a shelf.
Can yall help me with a way to get these lights over the tank? Or maybe you have some recommendations on some lights that have legs/brackets that can sit on the tank itself. Thank you.
I posted the pic so you can laugh at my ghettoness!

You just need to mod the brackets so they make contact with the inside of the glass (not the trim). I used Legos and super glued them to the bracket... perfect fit :)
I'll have to check out the lego mod tomorrow. My son has plenty haha
