I have a 40g half moon that’s 24” wide and 27” tall. I’m running a Chinese black box led on it atm I can’t find the height I need on the tank for the light had them around 12” and my nems that’s mid tank didn’t come out much at all then I moved it down to like 10 and they cane out a little more q few mins ago I moved it down to like 6” from water line. My first group of corals are 16” away from light running blues 100% and white on just enough to balance out the colors

You will probably not get a ton of answers as this tank setup and lights are not as common in the forum. Like @JCTReefer mentioned the only way to know is by using a PAR meter
