Hi all, I have a Fluval Flex 32.5g and am looking to upgrade from the current stock lighting (I’d get a bigger tank, but my apartment limits me to 30g so this seemed like the best AIO option at the time).

I’d like to get the AI Hydra 64, and to do that I’d need to take the lid off and run without a lid. I know 99% of reefers don’t have a lid (not counting mesh top) and was wondering if I should also get a dehumidifier to help? Right now in the summer, the interior humidity un my one bedroom apartment is around 60% with the tank’s lid on.

Also, the wife likes her air freshener plug ins and I am somewhat concerned that they will pollute the tank if the lid is off. They aren’t crazy powerful, just on low settings. I’m just curious to hear everyone’s thoughts/experience with this. Thanks and cheers.
