I have had my 125 gallon established for 1 year. Hard time with hard corals, not much of any growth on soft, not even purple or algae. Waters tests are perfect.

I tried marine-land LED for a while at beginning and they didn't help mostly yellow in color. I finally spent money on T5's due to recommendations. That is where I am now.

I am being told that I need the latest and greatest LED with more wattage. For my tank it will cost $300 a piece.

I need someones advise on what to do for my tank.

Thank you in advance,

Jack

What fixture and bulbs are you currently using? Personally with the appropriate t5 set up I don't see why you "need" anything else. Even sps dominant tanks can be done successfully with just t5's. It's not so much the type of lighting - that is more preference I believe - you can have successful tanks with t5's, halides, led's or combination of.

What are your actual water parameters? What type of flow in the system, maintenance routine?

Throw a few more specifics out there and I'm sure you'll get lots of help!!
