Lightning Question for Red Sea 250

Hey! I have a question about what lights I should use on my Red Sea Reefer 250. So I have 2 Radion xr30 blues and 2 xr15 pros that I could use.

I plan to have a mixed reef but more sps (acros) than anything. Im also going to have 2 Orphek Blue Plus strips on the front and back.

Do you think I should go with 2 xr15 pros or xr30 blues. I personally was thinking the pros since I will have more blue with the Orpheks, If i went with blues it would be too blue

Two XR30’s will do it. My brother has two XR15’s and they are enough for most corals. SPS is another story. And don’t forget the rock work also matters.

Spectrum is important, but XR30s are literally twice as powerful as the XR15s. The channels are individually dimmable, so if you're worried about it being too blue just dim those channels down.

If you didn't already have the lights and were looking at what to buy, the XR15 + Orpheks would probably be enough for what you want to do. But since you already have them, just use the XR30s and don't look back.
