I saw a thread on another forum and wanted to put the idea past you all and that was to build a backdrop out of limestone pavers with some holes and caves drilled and chisseled into it and was wondering on what the affect on the tank might be

would this help buffer my ph and have some other affects to the water ph

has any one done this and knows what the affect of it dose and how did you conect the stone pieces to make a stable wall

i wouldn't IMO. i would go with something more artificial like cured agrecrete if you want a 3-D back drop inside the tank.

yea I was thinking inside the tank for 2 reasons 1 it would help add calcium to the tank and 2 it would help buffer the ph better than agrocreet

not to meniton I was thinking it is flat about 2 inch thick and it would be easy enough to setup and lock in

if I did it I would probly drill holes and dowel it end to end top to botom to keep it solid and stable against the back wall
