Linking two Ecotec MP10

Hey all. I'm currently setting up a 40g IM AIO long. I was on a ten year hiatus however and I am back. I still have 2 MP10's and controllers. I may be delirious but I that I swear I could link them together which was a royal PITA. Anyone have directions to do this? I attached the directions which don't specify it. Any help would be appreciated.

What do you mean by link?

I know with my mp40s you can set one as the parent and the other(s) as the child and they work in an opposite flow pattern.

That is controlled via the mobius app, but if you are referring to some other way to link two or more, then im not sure what you are referring to.

Thanks for the response. Yes, master and slave, (mother / daughter link.) I recall that this could be done without a controller since it didn't exist and I never had one. However. I cant recall how I did it. For example, the left would be powered on and pulsing, and the right would be doing the same opposite of the left. In addition, if I wanted an incoming tide, one side would shut down and the other would ramp up. For the receding tide, the opposite head would ramp up.

Yeah. That’s what I’m doing with my mp40s via the mobius app.

I found this video from 10 years ago whe they did this via the controller.

I remember setting mine up 10 or 15 years ago. It was a series of pushing the three buttons and purple red and green flashing lights. I also found a link from the past. So hopefully the above one or this one may help.

If you want to do it via the mobius app, it’s on the customize screen. Bottom right, just drag it onto the time bar and then tell it which pump is the parent.

FWIW many of the mirror functions don’t work and certain modes don’t work below a certain percentage. Long standing bugs that I am not sure will ever be fixed. There is a thread around here somewhere.
