Got a baby foxface about, 1.5-2 inches, but he spends his time mostly hiding since damsels are bein bit of bullies. Was wondering if he would be alright in my 150 with my lionfish thats around 4 inches long. As is the lion can barely handle a frozen small shrimp and i have to cut that in half. Do have a single horseshoe crab at 2 inch that hes just ignored so wonderin if the fox would be alright. The foxface does seem to nibble in the tank with the damsels but doesnt want to come out and idk how much they eat at this size.

The rule with predator fish like the lion fish is “if it can fit in its mouth, it will end up there “. You can see both fish. we cannot. If there’s a chance he could fit in its mouth, i wouldn’t risk it. If he can’t fit for sure, go for it.

Seems now things have chilled, lil foxface been out grazing all over and damsels aint bothering it so for now at least seems hes good to stay in here. Id feel bit better with it bigger before placin with my lion lol
