Little off topic but question about tank

i have 2 aqueon ascent tanks for my freshwater, and fishes from both tanks are eating the seals of the tank. what should i do?

i have 2 aqueon ascent tanks for my freshwater, and fishes from both tanks are eating the seals of the tank. what should i do?

I assume they are just picking at algae that is growing on the silicone? I would be shocked if they could cause any damage.
