The little white guy in the middle, kinda cruises around until he hits a high flow area and then just hunkers down until the magnet cleaner gets him. They seem to be reproduceing quite fast but i havent noticed anything wrong with any corals. Just curious what they are. The tank is mixed with lps and a couple softies and is only a couple months old but these guys just showed up.

Thanks,
Mark

I don't know the name, can't help there... Maybe brown or red flatworms. I can tell you I had them too. They were everywhere for a few weeks then the seemed to slowly dwindle. I bought flatworm exit, but wanted to wait to see if their numbers would drop more. They did. I never had to "nuke" the tank. I wiped them off the glass every other day for 2 or 3 weeks. Now I haven't seen them in about 4 days. From beginning to end it was probably almost 6 weeks. Take your time with them. They may disappear on their own.

Thanks @Maggie321 i was thinking they were something along those lines since none of my corals are affected and i havent seen them anywhere but the glass even at night. Ill keep an eye on them.

When I say disappear... I don't mean entirely. It's really that the population drops so low you just simply don't see them. Just sayin.

You're actually correct. I had brown acoels some time ago. Couple years I think. I have zero now. And I look for bugs a lot.

Haha i spend almost every night looking with a small flashlight for little bugs. Always on the hunt to make sure everything is doing ok and nothing is bothering my corals. Thank you both so much, i was kinda nervous about these lil guys

I bought a cheap frag from a local reef shop a few years back. It had flatworms and their population exploded in my tank and of course like most people i tried flatworm exit and it failed. Matter of fact all attempts to rid myself of them failed till i purchased 2 fish at a discount due to the fact they looked under nourished, a six line wrasse and a Melanurus Wrasse. They are both fat now due to all the flatworms they ate and the diet i have them on [reef frenzy]. Upstroke is they keep the populations in check to where i cannot find a single flatworm.

I had white flat worms. They are harmless. The red/brown ones are the ones to look out for. I think my crab ate all of my flat worms. Glad to be rid of that crab...
