I had a store credit of around $75 with LA because a couple of fish died during the guarantee period (different story). But thanks to the comments / experiences of others, I was able to order new items from LA and use my credit. So I thought I'd share my experience with you.

I called LA (yep -- old school "talking") and ended up speaking to a wonderful woman who was very helpful. Explained that I had a credit, and she verified the amount. She then offered to place the order for me. So I told her exactly what I wanted to purchase and she placed the order. Next thing I knew I received a confirmation email and then later that same day a shipment notice!

Moral of the story -- talking to a real person works!

That’s awesome. I have always had good experiences with LA customer service. That’s why they are my top go place for my needs.
