Just opened up their website to have this screen:

Hopefully it wont take too long, or that this isn't their goodbye to their website. It has a lot of great info.

It's probably going to be down permanently soon, they filed for bankruptcy.

They did, but they have a court order saying they must sell all their livestock before they close down. At least that is what I made out of it.

Scheduled. It could be like Cloudflare...unscheduled...

I’m full of speculation and ambivalent on optimism. Something is definitely going to happen, I hope it turns out well.

Didn't they say something about affordable aquaria being a sister website that's going to be the one to go through moving forward? Or am I mistaken?

NO that is the sister company of @Dr. Reef quarantined fish

and accepts and honors any discounts or credit someone had with live aquaria

That is correct. We have nothing to do with liveaquaria, except for the fact we are going to provide an alternative to thousands of customers that may not be able to purchase from them.

Dr Reef own 2 websites
www.drreefsquarantinedfish.com (quarantined livestock)
www.affordableaquaria.com (conditioned livestock)

Affordable Aquaria is Better and sweeter than liveaquaria. We are matching everything, price(on instock livestock), guarantee, shipping etc and also giving anyone that has credits with liveaquaria from Sept 1st onwards till we decide to end it. Just so you can try us without losing your credits,
How are we better and sweeter you can read the full story here:

I don’t know what to believe, but I’m not risking my money over it.

Wisconson location is for sale, California location according to court records, I posted few days back, is behind on rent and asking judge to let them off the 25 yr lease, they still are under contract in.
So where do you plan to do business from when the only 2 places you have are either selling or being evicted from?

No way. No matter how hard you try, you won't be able to match the dead livestock, poor customer service, and plain old thievery of Live Aquaria. 😛

Seriously, what you're doing is excellent, and I wish you every success!
lol, you had me worried for a second. but then i got the humor.
Well yes we are trying to break all that and provide a better solution to their mistakes and misfortune.
Thank you for your kind words.

Don't suppose you ever have plans to expand into the UK do you 🤣
Nothing is off table. My brother and sister both live in Oslo Norway so maybe 1 day.
