Still figuring out the microscope but this is what I have so far and I'm even more confused than I was before. I will post more as soon as I figure out how to improve focus.

Possibly ostracods.
Just looked those up. Not sure what species of them they are but as usual you are dead on. Now the real question is are the harmful. But now that I know what they are, I should be able to do that research myself. Thanks everybody for the help

After some more research, they appear to be very good. And since I have such a high number of them, I think I'm going to spread the love to my other tanks.

dang right. I have micro mysis shrimp in one of my tanks i have no idea where they came from took a long time to figure out what they were.
-+1mm long
Side note. Now that I have a digital microscope, I'm going to get some super close-up pictures of the mini mysis shrimps too

What are these? I found them in my dry rock cycling tank.
They are about the size of fine sand. At first I thought it was calcium precipitating out until I noticed them moving. They prefer to crawl around or get carried by the current.
