I AM READY TO START SHIPPING AGAIN!


I am super stoked for this. I have not sent any coral shipments out since I have moved to my new house because I wanted my system to settle a little bit after the move, then the frag tank upgrade. I also bought a carbon doser for my calcium reactor and that might be one of the best purchases I have made, besides my ATI fixtures.

Is that a de humidifier hanging above your Sump? If it os an AC unit, move or cover that sump up. If that thing drips condensation or leaks at all, it could be a disaster. I just dont trust anything near my reef that may ruin my life if something were to go wrong. If its a De humidifier, same feeling but not as concerned

It is actually a massive chiller that is plumbed into my system LOL. It is definitely a bit overkill, which makes it look like a air conditioner or dehumidifier, but it’s a completely sealed chiller.

So my carpet nem has been taking up a lot of room in my frag tank, so I picked up a 50 cube, built a stand for it, and plumbed it into the system. This is going to be a nem tank. Ignore all the messy cords, I’m also redoing my electrical. I have to move the outlet up a foot or two.

I do! I took these just a couple weeks ago. Not the greatest because they were just quick cell phone photos, but not too shabby.

Here’s a few photos of a couple pieces I posted up for sale. May as well share them here before they are gone.

Tomorrow I’m going to take some updated FTS. After looking through my thread, I can believe how fast my sps has grown in the last 3-4 months. It’s nice to look back and reflect.

I also got some very unfortunate news which is going to be forcing me to sell off some of my stuff.

I just can’t seem to catch a break when it comes to rental properties, and unfortunately I am not in the position to buy a house at the moment. Hopefully the next year or two, but we just got word that the owners are going to be selling the house we are renting, so they will not be renewing our lease. So once again, I am going to have to move my system AGAIN. I am not looking forward to this whatsoever.

It has been very discouraging over the last two years with having to move several times because it unforeseen circumstances, But I will NOT be giving up on reef keeping.

Yeah and I’m actually quite upset because when we moved here, I made it very clear to the property management and owners that we didn’t want to move in, unless we could stay for at least 3 years. 5 months later; they are telling us they want to sell the house.

Now I have to sell off a lot of pieces that I intended to keep for many years because I don’t want to risk having anything die while moving.

But yeah, I won’t be giving up. I am debating downsizing until we buy a house, but it’s going to be hard to bring myself to downsizing.
