Hey guys currently building a 75g visio with a Eshopps 200 sump. I have a Eflux 6010 return pump. Finished my plumbing and filled with tap water to test the system. I had a small leak that will tend to tomorrow. My question is about lock line. I opted go 3/4 to dual 1/2. I'm not so happy with my flow. Would I be better off just going straight 3/4" to get more gph?

Either it would help or not depending on your return pumps head pressure rating. Not much help, I know.

One thing that a lot of us reefers go for is 3x-5x the tank volume turnover through the sump, an hour. It's not a lot of flow coming out of the returns. The idea is to use wave makers or powerheads inside the DT for the water movement, not the return pumps flow.

Slow flow through the sump, more contact time with the skimmer.

Something to think about.

Thanks. Yeah my pump is rated for 1900gph and I'm running about 40% I purposely upsized the pump to be able to run UV or any other Reactors I might need in the future.
