what causes an anemone to loose its sticky glue from its foot was its mouth is closed and its not deflated

It could of been ripped off where it was attached to

Check your parameters. Phos, nitrate and alk in particular. Calcium and magnesium numbers could be helpful too. Try feeding it small pieces of mysis or similar sized foods, if you get a feeding response it's a good sign that it may pull through. Clowns constantly rubbing it all day could stress it too. Also, if you can, check to see if the foot has any damage on it. Like edudek said, it may have been ripped off a rock or something.
Do you have a photo?

noticed a small hole in the foot looks like there is a white slime coming out of it so its now in holding tank

Does the hole look like any of the following? I have yet to have one recover from this situation.
