Anyone have any long-term experience with glass cages in the 3-5 year time frame since they changed ownership in 2019? Any issues with leaks? How is customer service post-purchase? Thanks!

Photo from staining my Glass Cages stands (two 150 gallon tanks) and getting them in place. They have been up and running for 5 years now, and seem to be brand new. I don't want to jinx myself, but when I see/ hear people talking about seam problems (think Red Sea), it's like they must be suffering in a different world. "THANKS, Joe & Team!"

Nice. Did you order through one of their “salt bundles” or was it a true custom build?

They are one of the best! Joe has done a wonderful job with them. My 250 has been great. It was setup as a reef for 2 years and is now a frog tank. I just talked to Joe about about another custom build and will likely pull the trigger soon on that

I have a pair of 60 gallon 4ft tanks from glasscages plumbed together. I bought them in 2021 and they were filled with water not too long after. I've not had any issues with the tanks.

Thanks for all the feedback. I have yet to read or hear about a bad experience with the company since change of ownership. It seems like the true custom builds are significantly more expensive than their bundled tank/stand builds - I assume this is just related to economies of scale versus differences in quality of craftsmanship.

@mp2022 , I am not familiar with the bundled-packages, but I am sure you are correct. In my estimation, there is no way they would let anything go out the door that they could not be proud of. 😎👍🏻
