Just out of curiosity. What is the longest consecutive days, weeks someone has noticed their Zoas closed? Not looking for root cause but feel free to share if you determined why they were closed in the first place.

For me, about 11 days

No I have never had a healthy zoa close for an extended period of time that is not getting messed with, picked on , has pests or does not agree with the lighting or water quality, or possibly to much flow, but a healthy one should open right back up in minutes even when touched. IME

My Hyper Jubilee's stayed closed for monthsss,literallty. But still grew which was WILD lol then finally one day they finally opened then melted after a few weeks of opening lol.

All other z/p's were perfectly fine too btw.

For Months!
I ordered some lps from an online vendor, he included some zoas like two polyp frag , that was back on April they closed up after adding them to the tank , I left it alone since I glued the frag to the rock , couple of weeks ago I noticed that the were open, not much color but they were open .
