Looking better after FWD

I was worried about my clam looking irritated and not extending its mantle fully.

after some advice from @OrionN, I decided to take the plunge and do a 30min FWD, and 12 hours later already looks better. Thanks @OrionN!

So does the FW remove anything that could be bothering it’s shell, like pyramid snails?

Do you get it to close up before putting it in FW? Or do they close regardless because of getting out of the tank.

Thanks, I’m starting to research clams and this is surprising. 30 min sounds long
 
I think snails may come off incidentally but really need to brush it physically to remove

It closed right after being picked up
