After you get all your quotes would you mind sharing your findings?
You don't have to give the actual price, but a ranking show who had the best price to the highest price would be very helpful.

TANKSALOT
aka - Steve

I will post everything for sure. I don't mind posting actual prices as long as it's not against any rules or anything. On some sites it is probably a conflict of interest if there are competitive sponcors selling similar products.

I'll share mine too, in order of highest price to lowest price, I don't recall actual prices:

ELOS
Aquarium Obsessed
Miracles
A.G.E.

The latter three were all within a few hundred dollars, almost moot. My aquarium was about $1,800.

Thanks for the info. So far I have:

Elos
Miracles
A.G.E.

Lowest is about $2500 shipped. Waiting for Miracles. Going to contact Aquarium Obsessed and one other.

****I guess Aquarium Obsessed is out of business. I think I remember reading about that last year.****

Ok, I think I am making progress on selecting a tank. It is now decision time. I think I am going to go with AGE. They are in Dallas which means I can have one of my drivers from work pick up the tank and bring it to me so I can save on the shipping charges. I have to decide on the size of tank now. During the process I discovered you can only go Rimless up to 20 " high with 1/2 glass. If you want to go higher you have to switch to 3/4 glass. Needless to say that adds a chunck of change to the cost. To me the extra 4" is not worth the difference in price. The two options I am looking at are 60X30X20 Rimless with a center external overflow, or 60X24X24 with acrylic euro-bracing. The tank would still have the external overflow. I saw a Leemar tank that was euro-braced and it looked nicer than I would have thought. I am leaning toward Rimless but am willing to be swayed the other way if there is a compelling argument to go with the euro-braced tank. I look forward to any advice I may recieve. Also, if anybody has any pictures they would like to share of tanks with euro-bracing that would be great aswell.

I have a Reef Savvy tank. All I can say is give them a shot. The quality is as good if not better than miracles and A.G.E.. Here are a couple shots

Nice looking tank. I did recieve a quote from them and was impressed with their work and customer service. But in the end I decided on AGE because of the ability I have to get the tank shipped at no cost and the fact that they can setup the External overflow the way I wanted. I am still trying to make my mind up on the final dimms but I hope to order the tank in the next couple weeks.

Thanks :) I am very happy with it. Makes sense why you would choose AGE. It will be a nice tank I'm sure

My AGE is 1/2" glass that's 24.5" high. However the water line is 21.5" high, which was the "highest", at least two years ago ;)

I would totally opt for the wider (front to back) dimension. My tank is 36" wide and I'll never have anything skinnier! Why not 60" x 30" x 24" braced?

I can go with the 60X30X24 braced instead of the 60X24X24 braced as an option. I really like the look of rimless which is just a person preference more than anything else. However after seeing a couple nicer tanks with bracing I am starting to change my mind a bit.

Another local one to Texas is Deep Sea Aquatics. They make some very nice tanks, and are in the Dallas area as well.

Deep Sea Aquatics bought our local tank manufacturer (Ocean View) earlier this year. They aquired all of Ocean View's equipment and product knowledge. Our bad luck.... now we have to look at shipping cost of any tank. LOL Can't say I am really that happy with my Ocean view Tank.... First one broke the day I first put water in it. 150G of wwater throughout the house can turrn you off to the manufacturer of the tank that just broke. LOL
