Guessing that’s an injury it looks to perhaps be infected. Acriflavine would be a good bath, in addition to the trifecta (furan 2, metroplex, and kanaplex) does in to QT for infections.

Even tho it is to late , Those med are on the way, Ill look at getting some Acriflavine to keep on hand.

uronema is ubiquitous in the environment. not all fish innthe same system fall victim to it unless its numbers explode. the skin fish wouldnt necessarily have open wounds unless the infection was advanced.
