I listen to it a podcast that Alan Vo participated in with Adam from frag Garage and I’m very interested in his posts here about coral food. I tried using his name and it didn’t come up with anything. Does anybody know what his Reef2Reef ID name is so I can search through his posts here?

I too would like to know peoples own recipe quantities for their tanks. I have a 150g and a little confused on how much of each should be added. I see that you add the directed amounts of each part such as bacteria amino etc, but what about the added food and carbon dose such as vodka or vinegar?

Below is the AI answer to "Format the concoction as a recipe."

Here is a formatted recipe based on the conversation:
Feeding Concoction Recipe

Components:

  1. Bacteria Source: Probiotic bacteria (source of life for the concoction)
  2. Particulate Food: Reef Roids or other particulate food for coral
  3. Organic Matter: Raw seafood, sugars, and other organic matter
  4. Acetic Acid: Supplement for added nutrition
  5. Zeozyme: Supercharging agent for enhanced nutrition
Instructions:
  1. Mix all dry ingredients (bacteria source, particulate food, organic matter) together in a sterile environment.
  2. Boil RODI water to sterilize it.
  3. Add the proper amount of salt to the RODI water to achieve the correct salinity.
  4. Add the bacteria source to the cooled RODI water.
  5. Mix the dry ingredients with the RODI water and bacteria mixture.
  6. Add acetic acid and Zeozyme to the mixture.
  7. Stir well to combine.
Notes:
  • Use individual utensils for each ingredient to minimize cross-contamination.
  • Sterilize all equipment and surfaces before preparing the concoction.
  • Calculate the correct amount of salt and water to achieve the desired salinity.
  • The concoction is a concentrated mixture, so use accordingly.
Tips:
  • Experiment with different ingredients and ratios to find the best combination for your aquarium.
  • Be cautious when using this method, as it may not be suitable for all aquariums or coral species.
  • Consult with experienced aquarists and conduct further research before implementing this feeding protocol.
