Looking for keep 3 magnets for thicker glass

Hey there reefers.

I am wondering if they sell upgraded Nero 3 magnets?

Glass is a bit thicker then expected so they don’t stick but they would be more than enough flow for the tank in question.

Yes. I have 1” acrylic and have to stack on my Tunze 6055s.

Has to do with its "field" stacking two doesn't double the force, but it does increase it. It basically takes two small magnets, and makes them 1. There's a bunch of math involved and more than 2 has deteriorating effects since it has space between them etc.

This is fun and will answer any and all questions you may have, they are industry standard when it comes to neodymium magnets which is what you would require. Could just buy one also , but make sure you are sliding it and not letting it smack against the glass, some of those magnets can do some damage

they also sell the magnets , go to main page and then products, neodymium. ignore anything plastic coated since youll be dry side , ive only ever held a nori feeder on 1" glass and that was four different magnets at four different points , i think for your case with it a larger circle you could find a really thick cylinder magnet that would require tools to disconnect if you were to ever let them join without glass in between... o.O

the cylinder N52 magnets are rated for 180 pounds , 305 pound, etc. but you can always apply the settings to your specific tank req. on the calculator link. i have no affiliation with this company , i just know they are to be the standard when it comes to supplying industrial magnets and/or hobbyist consumer types
