Looking for people effected by coconut carbon

Hello, I’m looking for those of you. Who are having issues with the petco coconut carbon we’re kind of investigating it for a podcast that I’m getting in with Petco about it currently, we need more evidence to support these claims and need to speak to some of you especially those of you who are able to test. I also had seen someone who seemed to have more scientific testing done. I do not know where I saw that if That was here or someone knows of that if they could point us in the right direction. I'm not from the US so unfortunately I can't get my hands on this stuff even though I would buy it just to help with investigating the issue.

Carbon nuke my tank

Just want to share my experience so other reefers will be aware. I baught this imagitarium coconut carbon at petco at a very cheap price then tried it I rinse it 1st and put in my filtration system after 24hrs all my LPS corals died and some of my sofites died too. My snails, and hermit crabs...

Ive seen a few threads about it, some mentioned copper coming from the carbon.
Id recommend reposting this in a different forum, anything posted in this forum will get a ton of "welcome to r2r!" responses as im sure you've noticed.

This was a topic just recently discussed. Someone above already posted links and was a debate of discussion. I remember some saying it was fine while others said it wasn’t and contained metals. I personally don’t use it so I have no input other than reading the forums.
