This is with white lights
Do you know your par numbers?
Is it just the frags in the sand bed with problems?
The stag looks like growth on the tips but the other looks like stn.
I didn't see and algae growth.
I think you need some white light, maybe my personal opinion. I think it will up the par #s. And 8 hours is not enough.

That’s what I thought. Looked like too much po4 absorber (gfo). Get rid of the chemipure elite.

The flesh does look thin and dry.

I am a huge fan of ESV; Brightwell not so much. Those colonies look well aged. How long have you hosted them? Does the illness coincide with the shift in 2-part?

Nope. I don’t think they matter whatever they are. I just now thats what acros look like when the water is over stripped.
I really dont think nutrients is my issue I being doing sps for many years never had this problem before ,the way this sps are dying is very weird.

I didn’t say it was nutrients. I said it was the gfo.
I have run chemipure for years no issues at all and always keep my phosphates around the same sometimes .13 and sometimes .9 there is no big swings honestly don't even know what to do anymore.

I told you
Pull the gfo
It’s not needed
Stop worrying about po4/no3
They do not matter
Alk Swings don’t matter

@Epic Aquaculture brought up the only other possible reason, but we won’t know until you get the icp results. Your corals don’t have much time left if it is the gfo like I believe it is. Taking it out won’t kill them but leaving it in can. Take it out and give them a fighting chance for now.

Ok gfo is out
Just to add some examples, Hera are my frags with GFO:
1682648304786.jpeg

Same coral after removal of GFO, and few other changes:
1682648449236.jpeg

and now:
1682648534513.jpeg

Unfortunately I have a knack for trying to kill my corals every 3 month or so, so my progress is slow. Too many buttons to push.

Here are my latest water values for reference only:
1682649337306.jpeg

I don’t know where the NO3 disappeared to and I not trying to control it.
I only measure NO3 to see the trend and PO4 to make sure there is some in the tank (above 0.04 and preferably above 0.1).

I tested my water today and this is what I came with.
Calcium is 490
Magnesium 1350

This is a great example of 2 of the most common contributors to coralcide (coral murder). Gfo and the Hanna po4 checker
