Hi Friends! About 2 weeks ago, I moved a Rainsford Goby and a Yellow Watchman Goby from quarantine into the display tank. The fish were from Biota and both were eating and seemingly doing well in quarantine for 4-6 weeks. Since adding them to the display tank, I have not seen the YWG and only have seen the Rainsford maybe 30seconds total on 2 separate occasions, but not in over a week. How worried should I be?

Nervous fish dad…

you feed the tank daily? You don't see them even at feeding time? Are there any other fish in the tank?

Maybe watch the tank from a distance, most of my fish hide when I get close to the tank.

The YWG can be out of sight for days, I know mine is. I don’t know much about the Rainsford, other than what I’ve read (I’m considering getting one), but they seem to be good for hiding as well.

Don’t worry. It happens. My Lawnmower Blenny disappears for weeks at a time. When I get the occasional glimpse, he is getting bigger. So I know he is eating.
