YWG are fairly common, so I'd opt for a Dracula myself.

He doesn’t look very happy about that…

So I decided on a Dracula, and now that I want one do you think ANY LFS has one? :face-with-rolling-eyes: All the ones they have are too tiny. I saw a 2” one around a month ago, yea I should’ve gotten that.

I’d personally try grab a Yasha goby but that’s me being biased. Gobies and wrasses are the family I love and honestly out of the shrimp gobies, the yasha is number 1.
However in the size of tank you have I’d personally go for a Cryptocentrus species as they’ll be seen more often but also they attain a larger size whilst Stonogobiops tend to max out at 2 inches (if that).

Good idea. The Dracula may be too small. Back to goby hunting then :grinning-face:

Cinctus is the best one to go for as they’re that beautiful eye catching yellow with blue spots however there are several others in the genus that are just as beautiful and enter the hobby.

I have always thought of CJG as a tiny cryptic fish but I guess I’m wrong. I do think it would be best for me to wait to set up a Nano and house one of these guys (or gals) cuz I think there would be a little too much action and fish that would rival its size greatly…..or maybe not? I kinda want a fish thats very cryptic that doesn’t add much bio load and is a fish where you can say “Oh I forgot I had that one”. Like one of those fish that you don’t see them for a while but a treat when you see them yk?
‘Uhhh, hello? Are we not good enough?’

Honestly, all I can see in that photo anymore is that phrase…

Haha, that's their face, "grumpy old man", it's their beauty.
I know right! It’s even better how my Watchman lives right below my Blenny, they’re like polar opposites.

I'm sure I missed it somewhere on your thread, but what fish do you currently have?
Clownfish pair, Black Phantom/Velvet Angelfish hybrid, Midas Blenny, and me :grinning-squinting-face:

Hm… Well, wrasses remind me of either dragons or incredibly angry pigs (I don’t know why but they do) so maybe something to do with ‘Hog Heaven’ and I mean, there is the genus of Bodianus in this family so it’s not all lies :)
