The vertical bars on the side mean it's either a male already or transitioning usually. Yours are pretty prominent so I'd say transitioned.

Sooooo, we’ve got wrasse now! Took a trip to TSA this afternoon and picked up a Halichoeres melanurus. Enjoy some store pics!
