Lost rainbow acan color

Well not really lost, it had a good color in pic when bought it but now in tank kinda bunch of browns, silver.... Running 6x24 T-5. Is it common for it to be shocked during fragging and or shipping or is the rainbow colors hard to maintain. Acan is on sand off to the side, only been in tank a week.

They will lose color sometimes until they adjust to their new enviroment.Give it time.

Move the acan into the shade because it might be too much light.

Yea shade it.. The rainbow ones loses thier greens and blues in direct light. And I think that is alot of light for them. Goodluck

Will move them around and make a few changes to lower PAR bulbs to make it work. New to acan world, hard to tell each color or pattern needs. Too much photo shopping go on these days. Need to ask more questions than you should. Like buying a used car. Thanks for your help
