Well, made it to the LFS, two of them actually. The first one was because they said they had filefish also. I think they were the Spotted filefish which is known to mess with corals, so I passed. Then went to the one I originally planned on. Get there, and they say they're not in yet, that the UPS guy came earlier, said their box was burried, and he'd be back. Well, I was there at 5pm and he hadn't made it back. Really sucks because it's a 2.5 hour drive all together.

I did end up getting a lettuce nudi they had though that I didn't notice yesterday. So not a total loss. Here's a couple of quick mushroom pictures and the lettuce nudi. Will be checking water parameters here shortly after dinner also.

@Kasrift did you recently get a lettuce nudi also? I mainly grabbed this one because I read, they help take care of Bryopsis also! Hopefully it does, I have 2 small areas of it.

Well checked the parameters and everything is still looking good. The Rainbow Pocillopora is really trying to hold on, leaving some that still have some PE in to see if they come back. Took a closeup video of some of the corals/mushrooms tonight. Also tried to get a good video of the Lettuce Nudi. The engineer goby has made him a little cave as well and still doing well :)

Here are the parameters:

Alk: 9
Mag: 1440
Cal: 420
No3: 10
Po4: .09
Sal: 1.025
PH: 8.30
Temp: 78.9
Time: 9:10
W/L: 4.6"

Here's the video:

Well, went back to the LFS today. They messaged me and said they did get the Filefish in. Sent pictures even so I could see what they had. Went and picked up the medium sized one. Had the best patterning I thought. It's a Green Filefish (Acreichthys tomentosus) is at least what it was listed as. I'm pretty sure it is, it looks like other pictures I can find. We'll see if he starts taking on the aiptasia!

Engineer goby was hiding behind some rocks, so I'll get him later again also :)

Here's some pictures and a video :)

It would have been a pretty wrasse for sure if you got it!
I have one already. It wasn't marked with a price. Who knows - with my willpower and already more or less having my wife's approval I'll probably buy it tomorrow if the price is right. :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Water parameters this evening. Filefish hasn't eaten any aiptasia that I've seen yet, but is definitely eating pods, or something off the rocks and back glass. Hopefully tomorrow once it settles in, it'll be more comfortable and swim around more. It's just stayed on the right side mainly today.

On a good note, the lettuce nudibranch has found its way to the Bryopsis. Now to see if it takes care of it. I don't think they eat it but drain it of chlorophylls and it ends up dying that way. We shall see! Will be checking water parameters again this evening and will post those once done.

I took a decently long video this evening after testing the water. It's uploading currently and I'll post it here shortly as well :)

Our new lettuce nudibranch has been sitting on the Bryopsis all day. So hopefully it won't be long until it 'dies' and the nudi moves on to the next small batch!

Some quick goni shots! They're all starting to expand again, and looking like they used to! Some neat things I noticed on coloring also!

Changed the aquascape up a little bit. Moved some corals around a little. We'll see how everything likes it. Also did our weekly 15gallon water change. Also got two new peppermint shrimp. See if they'll eat any Aiptasia... the filefish so far is just eating frozen food, and copepods.

The Lettuce nudibranch is doing it's thing on the bryopsis, very slowly. But the bryopsis is dying from the nudibranch, so that's good. Just wish it went a little faster. I think I read where they can split, and you'll have more. Then they'll live until all the byopsis is gone. We'll see, hopefully the gonis like their new home. I turned the lights down also quite a bit since we really don't have any SPS left. From 80% to 50% on the G5's and 80% to 50% and the AI 16HD's.

Not much of an update but completed our weekly 15g WC. The LFS was out of Coral Pro black bucket, so I went with the blue bucket. I've been keeping our alk around 8-9 anyway, so probably a better choice. We'll see how it goes. Our lettuce nudibranch was doing work on the Bryopsis but has been MIA the last two days. No idea where it went. It had gotten pretty large also!

I relocated a few gonis as well, to their own little rocks. Our King kong Yuma fell under one of our rocks, and I'm not sure how I'll get to it. Hoping it moves on its own out and attaches at the bottom of the rock where I can see it later.

We'll get parameters and a video uploaded tomorrow after work hopefully.

Haven't updated in a while, but here's a video from this afternoon :) Will take parameters again this evening, and do our weekly WC on Wednesday.
