I know all about parameters being out of whack that can contribute to algae, and such as GHA. Well, I don't have a clue what has happened to my tank as it has been infested with GHA - my parameters are 8ppm Nitrates and 0.05 Phopshates - consistent for months.
This is my first encounter of this type of algae - tank almost 3 years old.
If I pull out the rock work and use a toothbrush to scrub off the algae - is this effective or would the algae just grow back at the same spot.
A fellow reefer mentioned to me to use Reef Flux or go to the pharmacy to get some at a cheaper price.
Welcome any thoughts.
Thanks
