I just did 2 ICP test in 6 weeks. I dose about 38ml a day to keep dKH around 9.

Both ICP's looked good, but potassium is low in both. Is this a common thing with AFR?

I do regular ICP tests and use AFR and have not found any issues with low or high potassium.

Is there something maybe in your system that’s consuming it at a higher rate?

What were the readings for potassium anyways?

It's not really an effect of AFR, though like many methods, it adds none. Low potassium (if accurate) is caused by the relative amounts of potassium coming in with foods and the amount taken up by growing organisms. It depends, IMO, on the K to N and P ratios in the foods and in the new tissues.

FWIW, I dosed alk and calcium via kalkwasser (no significant K) and in 20 years had no depletion of potassium.

If you believe K is low, it's a fine plan to raise it with food grade potassium chloride, as from Now Foods.
