I had someone watch my reef for a couple months while I was away. Everything lived but came back to some seriously unhappy corals. After 5 water changes (25% each) things are looking a little better, but still large values of copper, iron, and tin. https://lab.faunamarin.de/download/analyses/121/121497.pdf

Any ideas on the best way to get rid of the remaining? I'm planning to keep changing water anyway, but I wouldn't mind something that could help directly remove it from the water. Also, any idea on where all these metals came from?

The thing about Tim is there are many chemical forms possible, but a metal binder such as a polyfilter or metasorb may be useful. Tracking down the plastic source, if any, is also useful.

I've had polyfilter in for a month, I might try metazorb as well.

For the plastic source, should I be looking at things in the tank, or my RODI? Recently got a Nero 3 that could be the cause

Could be either. Some folks have fingered plastic tubing.

My tin issue was associated with dark tinted tubes from Amazon used for WC. These tubes also smelled weird probably from too much leftover plasticizer.
