Lps vs softies

I chose to post this under LPS because in the end I hope the answer is LPS...
The question: when in close quarters, who will survive in LPS versus softies?
I’ve had to move my torches and frogspawn due to changing pumps to a jebao gyre type. I’ve found places that have low enough flow to satisfy my LPS but these spots are in close quarters with mushrooms and zoas. What to expect? I wouldn’t mind losing softies in the area to make room for the LPS but I don’t want to lose LPS or keep them irritated.

Depends which species. Torches and frogspawn, being very aggressive, would probably win.

Great question! I'd like to know the answer myself, before my tank grows in.

I've seen mushroom coral lose fights to Euphillia but I've yet to see zoas bother LPS or sps. Typically in the past I isolate mushrooms just because of there fast growth.

I've had zoas do in small millepora frags but the hornets that grow around our bansai colony doesn't seem to affect it other than shading. I have rastas growing around a large trachyphillia and they make constant contact with each other and show no signs of damage. Mushrooms I'd be weary of and like stated above, they grow fast. I would say that the euphyllia would get the upper hand.

I've noticed zoa not really growing fast if you don't feed them directly. (in my experience)
