LTAs require about 4” deep sand bed.

They tend to like being up against a rock that overhangs a bit so that they can move a little to get the light they want.

Let it be. It will find it's happy place sooner of later.
How is the oral disc? Does it have puffed mouth or gapping mouth?
How long ago did you get it?

Dig a hole against a rock, directly under your lights if possible . Place it in the hole and surround gently w sand then leave it alone.

Also, what lights are you using? They do require quite a bit of light.
