I have a Frogspawn and a Hammer that are really not looking good. I read that I can use Lugols to potentially help. Does anyone know the saltwater to iodine ratio to use?
Cal:430
Mag:1380
Alk:11.2
Phos: 0.08
Nitrate:23.3
PH:8.0

pictures of the corals would be good. Maybe dipping would help but it might cause more stress. Dipping would be helpful if you suspect some sort of infection or pathogen

Lighting, age of tank, flow and length of time the corals have been in system?

Iodine dips are really more first aid for damage or injury and infection stemming from such. When i do iodine dips, i usually use povidone iodide from the first aid section in the dig store, but lugols is great too if you already have some. Just add enough to tint the water dark yellow/ light brownish and dip for a few mins.

For bacterial infection and bjd (brown jelly disease) check out the thread here: Thread 'Experimenting with in-tank antibiotic treatments for Brown Jelly Disease' https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/e...ic-treatments-for-brown-jelly-disease.782438/

Two Ai Prime on a Waterbox 50.3, one Redwave 25 on left wall on step wave at 30%, two Nero 3, one under Reefwave one on other side of wall, both on random at 15-30%. Tanks been up for around five months, corals about three months.

Well that should get it done.

Are they too close in proximity? Or potentially to any other LPS that might be an issue.
Have you checked at night for pest?
Is the SG stable?

Torches on far end by themselves, frogspawn, octo and hammers together but separated by about five inches. One hammer is already gone, trying to save my $100 frogspawn. Haven’t checked at night, not sure what SG is. All of these were shielded by rocks a bit, they had some good days when I first put them there but slowly went south. I moved them around when noticed this but didn’t look like they recovered. I post some pics tomorrow.

It's 40 drops to a gallon. I usually use 12 to a quart when cutting acros. A 5 to 10 minute bath should be more than enough for LPS.

You can dip but I suspect this is a long term issue as you indicate the tank has been running 5 months and the corals have been in a few months and have been declining slowly for a while. Your alk is high but that could potentially be the salt mix. You don't know the salinity? That is top of the list of things to know when running a salt water tank.

2 AI prime on a Waterbox 50 is not enough. I have 3 hydra 32 on a tank only 12" wider.

Generally when corals decline for a long period it is related to nutrition and water parameters swinging or a combination of both.

And I say nutrition but that is a combination of par and dissolved nutrients and particulate food. Different corals have different requirements. The LPS you are having issues with need around 125-150par on the low side and prefer to catch food a couple times a week IMO. That can be through heavy broadcast feeding or target feeding.

Salinity is sitting at 35, light setup is going to have to work for the time being. I do broadcast feed once a week with Reef Roids and AB+ and direct feed once a week with the same. Feed fish frozen food twice a day. I’m going to go with parameter swings. I have been manual dosing periodically and I finally hooked up an ATO and doser but still learning the doser. Things were looking good today with Alk around 10.2 and Cal down to 410. My doser went off and all levels shot back up and everything closed again. Think I found the sweet spot I’m looking for by cutting the dose down by 3/4. I’ll retest in a few days to see what I have.
