First off, I want to say thank you to everyone here. This is a great community of support and knowledge. I'm new to reefing but have always been around freshwater tanks. I'm currently three months in on my first reef tank. It's a 55 gallon corner. I'm running a canister filter for this first tank, 40 lbs of live rock and 40 lbs of sand, with a Vortech MP10. Currently have three SPS corals and a wrasse ( I love how she sleeps in the sand). I am setting up my first quarantine tank this weekend. Just the basic 40L with a bubbler, HOB filter, heater, and ordered Parazipro..learning so much everyday and love the hobby I'm investing in! I use the search a lot here to help find my way.

I'm an electrician by trade, music enthusiast for life, and now diving deep into hobby of reefing.
