Macro algae in the display.

Hi everyone. I'm looking to put some macro algae in my display to make it look a little more...natural I guess.
I've asked around a few LFS and the only macros I could find were caulerpa species.
Just wondering, are the odds good that it will spread and take over? Even if it's on it's own rock in the sand bed? I like to feed a lot so there are enough nutrients to get some good growth.
Also, do we have an actual macro algae forum on R2R? I had a quick look and didn't see one.

As long as you stay on top of trimming it to contain it to the areas where you want it, otherwise it can be invasive. There is an algae and marine plants forum, display macros are included but it tends to be more about the nuisance varieties. You just have to dig a little bit.
