Macro rock vs real reef rock.

I am looking to set up my first tank and I do not know what rock to chose. I want to do an NSA aquascape which I heard macro rock is better for but i love the purple of the real reef rock. Witch should I chose and if anyone has experience with macro rock how long does it take to get Caroline algae on the macro rock if anyone has pictures that they can post it would be awesome to see.

All rock ends up purple eventually, so build the rock scape you want and don't worry about it.

Than you so much and I will just go with macro rock as it is cheaper.

Bingo. Just be patient. Get some small pieces of good live rock if you can to seed with.
