Macroalgae Reactor in FOWLR Tank?

Would a macroalgae reactor work or be helpful in a FOWLR tank or would it not be necessary?

Would a macroalgae reactor work or be helpful in a FOWLR tank or would it not be necessary?

I think it would work as well as being helpful unless you want to try and grow algae in your DT for the fish to eat. Or if you plan on using chemical algacides.
