Sifting through the trove of information out there and committing to a logical path and not seeking confirmation bias helped. I did a few months without lights. COPEPODS and daily phyto (I do weekly phyto now). I’m right next to the tank most of the day. No secret ingredient really.Very nice accomplishment. Any setbacks that you had and can share such as Fighting algae, aiptasia, loss of corals, loss of fish etc?
And what has been your secret ingredient would you say?
Maybe 4-5 months? Pretty early. Also, looks like your coralline is coming in nicely, how long did it take for you to start seeing that?
Congrats on your tank being a year old! That is a big accomplishment!1 year of being wet today.

Dry Marco and Arag-Alive sand. I left the light off for -10 weeks and then slow ramp up. I had an ugly phase but it was short lived at 30-45 days. What rocks did you use?
Did you drill the holes?Dry Marco and Arag-Alive sand. I left the light off for -10 weeks and then slow ramp up. I had an ugly phase but it was short lived at 30-45 days.
